Description

Tissue Type Notes: lung, brain or skin tissue from patients with nocardiosis (e.g., tuberculosis lung tissue or other AFB-infected lung tissue)

Product specific reactivity is guaranteed for one year from date of receipt when stored properly at 60-80°F in a humidity controlled and light-deprived environment. Please revalidate after one year to verify continued reactivity.

All positive control slides are on Mopec IHC Enhanced Hydrophilic Adhesive Slides using Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) human tissue.

All controls are cut in serial sections at 4 microns. Standard tissue placement is mid-high on slide to facilitate placement of patient and control tissue on the same slide. All slides are air dried.

Box of 10 contains 10 unstained slides and 1 stained slide.
Box of 20 contains 20 unstained slides and 2 stained slides.
Box of 100 contains 98 unstained slides and 2 stained slides.

NOTE: The intended use of these histology special stains positive control slides is to verify histological techniques and reagent reactivity. These controls are not quality controlled for IHC methods. Therefore, we do not certify antigenicity. Please review the supplied stained slide(s) with your Pathologist prior to using the unstained slides to ensure that the intended analyte of interest is acceptable.
