Mopec’s Formaway Formaldehyde Spill Control Agent eliminates hazardous vapors while it polymerizes formaldehyde.

Note: Wear proper safety equipment, including respirator or S.C.B.A. according to volume of spill and ventilation available. Wear chemical goggles, gloves, and protective clothing when using.
Description
Directions for Use:
- Distribute Formaway Formaldehyde Spill Control around the perimeter of the spill to dike and prevent spreading. Starting from upwind side, cover the entire area from edge to edge. Effectively cover the spill, taking care not to walk into the spill if possible.
- Formaway Formaldehyde Spill Control must be added to spill at a rate of 1:1.
- Let material stand.
- On 20% or stronger concentration, solidification and polymerization will occur in 10-15 minutes.
- On concentration of less than 20%, polymerization will occur in 15 minutes, but material will not solidify. Solidified or polymerized material will have a pH in an acid state.
- Completion of clean-up should be in accordance with company policy and in strict accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
