The patented SafeDraft™ Ventilation Technology directs air from the front to the back of the cutting surface, enhancing the robust backdraft system. The Maestro Encore’s OrchestraOS touchscreen control panel includes configurable notifications for reduced airflow and filter replacements, ensuring safety remains a priority. The Encore’s Integrated Air Filtration System further optimizes airflow to prevent formalin exposure risks.

Every Maestro Encore Grossing Station includes the patented SafeDraft™ Ventilation Technology. This on-demand technology pushes air from the front of the cutting surface through the back of the area, creating a laminar flow pattern. Designed to increase safety, this continuous ventilation ensures that air flows in a uniform direction with support to the backdraft system. helping to maintain a clean work environment and significantly reduces exposure from dangerous formalin exposure.

Integrated Air Filtration System

The Maestro Encore Integrated Air Filtration System protects Pathologists’ Assistants from dangerous formalin exposure by ensuring consistent and high-quality airflow. By preventing the accumulation of dust and debris within the unit, filters enhance user safety and allows the patented SafeDraft™ Ventilation Technology perform at its optimal level.

The Encore’s 24.1 MP imaging hardware powered by Canon® is integrated directly into the hood of the grossing station. In addition to features such as automated image enhancement, seamless integration with laboratory information systems (LIS) and the leading Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, including both Epic and Cerner.

Three Convenient Sizes. Four Work Surface Options.

The Maestro Encore is available in three standard widths, 4-foot, 5-foot, and 6-foot, to ensure the maximum amount of grossing space depending on laboratory space and workflow demands. It also offers four work surface options, a right-handed sink, left-handed sink, shelf-level mini center sink, and a dry no-sink model. The sliding work surface design allows for a variety of workflows combined with easy cleanability.
