Tissue Microarrays are used to analyze multiple individual tissue samples on one slide. Typically, one TMA control slide will contain several different specimens. TMAs can have various histological types of disease that need to be compared, or they can contain the same histological tissue type but with different behaviors. This allows for an easy examination of multiple samples concurrently.
